I thought there was a garden. Where is it?
There is no real garden in the Observatory.
It is named the KUCHU TEIEN OBSERVATORY, as we want you to feel like Osaka's cityscape and the sky viewed from the Observatory is your garden.
Is it open on rainy days?
The Observatory is open even when it rains.
However, use of umbrellas is prohibited on the rooftop floor for reasons of safety. Thank you for your understanding.
In case of heavy rain, the rooftop floor may be closed.
Is the re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is not allowed.
You can enter the Observatory only once. Thank you for your understanding.
Can I buy the ticket in advance and enter the Observatory later?
You must enter the Observatory right after buying the ticket.
Please buy the ticket right before the entry.
Is there a place where I can leave my luggage?
You cannot leave your luggage in the Observatory. Please use the coin-operated lockers in TAKIMIKOJI on the first basement floor.

I lost something in the Observatory. What should I do?
On the same day as your visit, please contact the KUCHU TEIEN OBSERVATORY (TEL: 06-6440-3855).
After the day of your visit, please contact Umeda Sky Building Security Center (TEL: 06-6440-3910).
Can I buy Heart Lock and Heart Strap only?
They are available for purchase in UMEDA SKYBLDG GALLERY SHOP on the 39th floor.
Can I use a tripod to take pictures?
You can use a tripod as long as it does not bother other visitors. When crowded, the staff may ask you to refrain. Thank you for your understanding.
Is the parking ticket discount service available?
The Observatory does not offer parking ticket discount service.
The parking ticket discount service is available at the restaurant on the 39th floor and some of the restaurants in the restaurant street TAKIMIKOJI on the first basement floor.
Is there a place to eat on the Observation Floor?
The café "café SKY 40" is located on the 40th floor (inside the Observatory).
Snacks and drinks are available.
Food and drinks are prohibited on the rooftop floor.
Is there a breastfeeding room / smoking space?
Breastfeeding rooms are located on the 39th floor and 40th floor (inside the Observatory).
The smoking space is located on the 40th floor (inside the Observatory).
Is there a restroom for persons with disabilities?
Restrooms for persons with disabilities are located on the 39th floor and 40th floor (one room on each floor, inside the Observatory).
The restroom on the 39th floor has ostomate facilities.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Osaka Free Wi-Fi is available in the building.
Can I come on wheelchair or with a baby stroller?

If you enter from the KUCHU TEIEN OBSERVATORY Entrance on the first floor of FUN FUN PLAZA, you will need to change to the See-Through Escalator on the 35th floor.
As only the escalator is available from the 35th floor, please take the high-floor elevator to the 39th floor from the first floor of Tower East.
〈For visitors using baby strollers〉
The See-Through Escalator is very narrow and steep. Please fold the baby stroller before getting on to the escalator.
If you cannot fold the baby stroller, please take the high-floor elevator to the 39th floor from the first floor of Tower East.
Can I use my credit card to buy the ticket?
JCB, Visa, Master, AMEX and Unionpay cards are accepted.
Do I have to buy the entrance ticket for the Observatory to use only the restaurant/bar on the 39th floor?
You don't need the entrance ticket for the Observatory up to the 39th floor.
